Ukraine requires on-site testing for market approval

A transitional period has been granted.

For a market approval of products with radio technologies in the Ukraine it was so far under circumstances sufficient to submit the test reports and certificates, which are necessary for a CE Marking.

The Ukrainian authority “Ukrainian State Centre of Radio Frequencies” (UCRF) has informed CETECOM in the past that this procedure will no longer be sufficient to obtain market approval in Ukraine. Instead, the UCRF now also prescribes on-site tests in a laboratory in Ukraine.

According to the Ukrainian authorities, the new process has already entered into force, but a transitional phase is still being granted. At present, no valid information is available on the exact processes of the on-site testing in Ukraine, nor is any official information available on how long the transition phase is to last.

However, we at CETECOM can continue to offer you all relevant tests for admission to the Ukrainian market and issue the relevant certificates during the transition period. In addition, after the final entry into force of the new requirements, we will also coordinate the on-site tests in Ukraine through our certification team and continue to provide you with efficient approval for Ukraine without interruption.
