Latest MST Update authorizes 6 GHz for Wi-Fi and adjusts Spectrum for Wireless Charging
Halong Bay in Vietnam

Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology (MST) has released Circular No. 01/2025/TT-BKHCN, revising previous spectrum regulations.

The update officially permits the use of the 6 GHz frequency band (5925–6425 MHz) for WLAN/RLAN devices, aligning with global moves to expand high-speed Wi-Fi access. Additionally, it adjusts the spectrum for wireless charging technologies to the 315–400 kHz range.

These changes mark a significant step toward modernizing Vietnam’s wireless communication landscape.
