We have been designated with immediate effect by the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA, United Kingdom) as a Technical Service for eCall systems. This designation is based on Regulation (EU) 2015/758.

With this designation, we are now appointed by four national type approval authorities as a Technical Service for eCall:

• Germany (KBA)
• Ireland (NSAI)
• Finland (TRAFICOM)
• United Kingdom (VCA)

Our expertise in eCall is based on many years of experience: As early as 2017, we were designated by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt – KBA) as a Technical Service for eCall and were the first laboratory in Europe able to offer and conduct eCall type approval testing. With the latest designation by the VCA, we continue this path consistently.

This marks another milestone in the continuous expansion of our international service portfolio and underlines our long-standing expertise in eCall as well as our competence in supporting national and international homologation processes. Our customers benefit from even more comprehensive support in meeting regulatory requirements and from an expanded coverage of international type approval procedures – all from a single source.
