cetecom advanced certifies Anritsu’s Test PSAP according to EN 18052:2025 for Hybrid eCall Testing
Since January 1, 2026, the new eCall Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/1871 applies to new eCall types and extensions. It requires conformity with the latest Next Generation (NG) eCall standards:
- EN 17184:2024 – eCall High Level Application Protocol (HLAP) using IMS packet switched networks
- EN 17240:2024 – eCall end-to-end conformance tests for IMS packet-switched systems
- EN 16072:2025 – Pan-European eCall operating requirements
EN 17184:2024 and EN 16072:2024 refer to the newly published Hybrid eCall test standard EN 18052:2025, which defines eCall end to end conformance tests for hybrid circuit switched/packet switched network environments (e.g. GSM and LTE networks).
ANRITSU CORPORATION has updated its eCall evaluation solution MX703330E to ensure compliance with the latest eCall regulations and standards, including EN 18052:2025. This update enables manufacturers and suppliers to meet the new requirements and ensures seamless integration and validation of eCall in-vehicle systems (IVS).
The certification by cetecom advanced confirms that the MX703330E software, which simulates a public safety answering point (PSAP), successfully fulfills the requirements defined in EN 18052:2025 for Hybrid eCall end-to-end conformance testing. The solution enables reliable validation of emergency call procedures and data transmission between IVS and PSAP environments under realistic hybrid network conditions.
The main configuration includes:
- Signalling Tester MD8475B
- eCall Tester MX703330E
- NG eCall Software Option
- Hybrid eCall Software Option
For manufacturers and suppliers this certification provides a robust and future-proof basis for regulatory approval and market access of their emergency call systems and further underlines ANRITSU CORPORATION’s commitment to providing high-performance and standards-compliant eCall test solutions.
