ICT Qatar certification is required for market approval of products with radio technologies for the Kingdom of Qatar.
The permanent approval is granted by the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) located there and is the basis for the marketing of the products in Qatar. The ICT Qatar certification is a national certification regime, which is however based on the requirements of the Radio Equipment Directive (RED).
Test results and certificates that have already been issued for CE marking are therefore accepted by the authority and can be reused for ICT Qatar certification. Therefore no local tests in a local laboratory are necessary, the same applies to the engagement of a local representative.
