The Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) of Kuwait published Resolution No. 297/2023, regarding “stopping the granting of import and entry permits for telecommunication peripheral devices that operate only on the second and third generation technology for communications, or both, to the state markets” on June 11, 2023.
Telecommunications devices that operate only on 2G and/or 3G will be banned from importation and entry to Kuwait beginning September 1, 2023.
